As a Patient Assistance Representative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients have timely access to essential medications and medical coverage, transforming lives and elevating well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support patients with medications and health insurance assistance aligned with your specific role.
  • Engage with clients eligible for Ryan White Grant programs to gather necessary documentation for enrollment.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of program requirements to process applications and payments efficiently.
  • Keep accurate and updated records of program participants.
  • Conduct routine communication with clients to ensure engagement and ongoing eligibility.
  • Oversee timely handling of all incoming service requests.
  • Document patient care activities in all applicable electronic systems.
  • Ensure timely validation of data points to align with grant standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and service providers to identify and address client concerns.
  • Perform regular reviews and audits for accurate reporting.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum one year of healthcare experience or three years of customer service experience in healthcare settings.
  • Desirable knowledge in healthcare terminology, HIV disease, and medications for HIV treatment.
  • Insurance and COBRA understanding preferred.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
  • Competency in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
